Rachel joined Fytche-Taylor Planning & Design in August 2023, bringing over 15 years hands-on experience of working in a range of roles within planning – gained across both the private sector and in local authorities in Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire.

Having most recently worked as part of the management team within a local planning department and being renowned for her exceptional planning knowledge, Rachel’s  positive approach to identifying effective solutions to even the most complex planning issues is a real benefit to our clients.

Through her previous roles, Rachel has led numerous complex major planning applications across a range of development types, including strategic housing sites, commercial and capital works projects, education and leisure schemes.  

Rachel holds an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from Sheffield Hallam University and outside of work enjoys watching ice hockey as a keen supporter of the mighty Sheffield Steelers.
