Three Bespoke Detached Homes, School Lane

Our design and planning teams were appointed to help bring forward three of the four new residential plots on this attractive site off School Lane. Working on behalf of both a local property developer and a private self-build client, we created three bespoke detached homes, each carefully designed to maximise the generous plot sizes while respecting the character of the surrounding village.

Following detailed consultations with each client to gain a thorough understanding of their individual aspirations and requirements, our architectural designers developed three distinctive detached properties. Although forming part of the same wider development, each home was individually designed to reflect the needs of its future occupants while creating a cohesive and attractive street scene. Each property benefits from its own private driveway from School Lane, generous front and rear gardens, and a high-quality design that makes the most of its spacious plot.

Once the designs had been agreed, our planning consultancy team prepared and managed the full planning application process on behalf of our clients. This included the preparation of all planning application documents, supporting plans and statements, together with ongoing liaison with the Local Planning Authority throughout the determination period.

The approved scheme delivers three high-quality detached homes that make efficient use of the site while complementing the character of the surrounding area. Through a collaborative design process and proactive management of the planning applications, Fytche-Taylor Planning successfully secured planning permission for all three dwellings, enabling both the developer and private client to confidently progress to the next stage of their projects. We later provided Building Regulations support during construction of Plots 3 and 4.
