Matt has spent over 25 years in the design and construction industry with a variety of experience and roles. Starting as an architectural assistant progressing through to a qualified architectural technologist with senior roles in various practices as a Design Manager for main contractors in both design and development sectors. As a designer with a thorough understanding of Building Regulations and build costs, Matt's skills are essential for any building project - all our clients find his advice invaluable in bringing their projects to life.
Whilst our services cover everything from home extensions to major development sites, Matt has led major capital works projects for the county's largest construction firms, including on educational, commercial, residential and leisure developments.
With an innovative and friendly approach, Matt is highly qualified in his specialist field with HND & NVQ qualifications in Building Construction Management - he is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists & Chartered Institute of Building and certified Energy Assessor. As an architectural technologist he combines qualities of the two previously separated disciplines; that of Architect (concept design) and Technician (buildability). Matt brings together design flair and the ability to problem solve with a real understanding of the design and buildability of new development, concentrating not just on how things look but on form and function to ensure that his designs are not only suitable in terms of construction, but practically and functional on a day-to-day basis.
