Case Study: Planning Permission for Park Homes
Manor House Park, Church Laneham, Nottinghamshire
Removing Historic Occupancy Restrictions and Securing New Residential Park Homes
Fytche-Taylor Planning successfully secured planning permission for additional residential park homes at Manor House Park, Church Laneham, Nottinghamshire, whilst also removing restrictive occupancy ties linked to historic planning permissions.
Nestled on the edge of the River Trent within the Trent Valley landscape, Manor House Park is a long-established residential park home site in an attractive rural setting. The project required a carefully considered planning strategy to overcome historic planning constraints whilst supporting the future growth and long-term viability of the park.

OUR APPROACH
Historic occupancy conditions attached to earlier planning permissions had created unnecessary operational restrictions and limited future development opportunities across parts of the site. Following a detailed review of the planning history and lawful use of the park, Fytche-Taylor Planning prepared a robust evidence-led case demonstrating that the restrictions were no longer justified in planning terms.
Alongside the removal of the occupancy ties, we secured consent for additional residential park homes which were carefully designed to integrate with the existing development and surrounding riverside landscape.
Our Involvement Included:
Review of historic planning permissions and occupancy restrictions
Strategic planning and development advice
Preparation of planning applications and supporting statements
