The former cattle-rearing site will support the creation and retention of multiple jobs across a combined floorspace of close to 2,000m² (20,000sqft).  The decision is a great outcome for the local businesses that sought to establish the site as a permanent rural business park.

Chestnut Farm is just one of several similar sites that we have recently gained planning permission for around the County, delivering thousands of square meters of employment space and boosting economic growth.  This application required a meticulous planning case and a significant volume of work by our in-house planning consultants, but after gaining planning approval our client is thrilled with the outcome and the opportunities it brings with it.

Plans Approved! The units at the 1.25 acre site have been subdivided and offer a perfect quiet location for independent local businesses

Rural enterprise parks form a significant and important part of Lincolnshire’s economy, from start-ups to smaller scale light industrial uses, and support hundreds of unique businesses and much-needed rural employment. These benefits weighed heavily in the decision to give the green light to our planning application, which also attracted positive comments from the council’s own economic development team.

The permission allows B2, B8 and E(g) uses, which means that activities such as general light industrial or manufacturing, storage and distribution, office space, research and development are all permitted at this site.

If you are interested in renting space at the site, please do get in touch and we will forward your details to our client.
